MAY 21, 2016 LENR: WAS MY YESTERDAY'S EDITORIAL A TOTAL FAILURE?

That's by my favorite politician, Winston Churchill. I think I owe my survival during WWII in part to his energy and willpower and genius. In many respects, he is a model for me but there are also some significant differences.  He drank daily a bottle of whiskey, I am drinking just a thimble of plum brandy.

So the question I put to myself: was my editorial of yesterday a complete failure?

- fastest answer: YES! No feedback, zero echo, probably no impact at all.

- a bit slower answer: NO! You have asked those friends who disagree with you to come with facts and they did not found facts. You was not happy to say such blasphemies and for years you have tried desperately to show that PdD can be made reproducible, can be intensified, scaled up, can inspire theories, can be made useful-
but this was  a real failure.

I read what the officer of Woodford wrote about the litigation between you and IH in a financial blog. They became now shareholders of IH LTD, so obviously they defend IH, but what is disgusting in that comment is that clearly they used your name and your technology to get enormous money from their investors, visited the 1 MW plant that IH made under your direction, collected further money after their technicians visited the 1 MW plant in operation in the customer’s factory and, after collecting all this money from their investors thanks to your work, they deliberately started an action to collect other technologies of the field – that never produced anything- to prepare their investors to the fact that they were going to lose your licence not paying you. Now: since they paid nuts in real cash to buy all that ridiculous “intellectual property” of your competitors, made by revoked patents, useless patent applications, unauthorized patent applications that are copies of your work, etc etc: where is in reality gone the money they got from we investors? From the available information it appears that now the sole asset of IH is a lot of sheres to which has been conferred a value of millions by very, very friendly fair value auditing, but this value is totally fake and such shares are unsellable in the real market, while the real money is disappeared and the license for the sole thing working, which is your E-Cat, is gone. Question: did ever Woodford give you money, or did you ask money from them ?

Abstract

Over the last 50 years, German energy policy has ranged from strong enthusiasm for both coal and nuclear energy to deep skepticism. The most dramatic changes with respect to energy policies have occurred as a response to nuclear accidents, yet the accidental and unintended effects of coal policies are also important in influencing the trajectory. The newly emerging climate debate prevented the coal industry from acting as a substitute for the diminishing share of nuclear power. In 2011 the conservative government announced the Energiewende (‘energy transformation’) and decided to reduce the amount of fossil fuels from 80% of the energy supply to 20% by 2050. However, while the verdict on nuclear was unequivocal with a final phase-out date of 2022, the share of coal in the electricity market did not decrease and the amount of carbon dioxide released into the air slightly increased from 2011 to 2013. There are growing conflicts over the immediate costs and practicalities of coal replacement. Consequently, the future of coal in Germany is still relatively open and contested.

    you editorial yesterday was no failure. Even if for example I had not answered, so I have read it and it made me think about several personal issues. I think many of your readers feel like me and the fact that there is now visible reaction does not mean that your words do not have deep impact. In my case they had impact, because they strengthen my point of view not to be angry of myself because of missed chances or misfortune in life, but to learn of it and turn over the worst to the best!

    This fellow did his part also in WW2.


    Alan Turing (1912-1954) was a brilliant mathematician and a founder of computer science. He was one of the codebreakers who worked at Bletchley Park during World War II and who played a major role in breaking the cipher systems used on the German Enigma machine thereby generating the Ultra intelligence that proved a key factor in many Allied Victories.

  3. By late 1941, Turing and his fellow cryptanalysts Gordon Welchman, Hugh Alexander, and Stuart Milner-Barry were frustrated. Building on the work of the Poles, they had set up a good working system for decrypting Enigma signals, but they only had a few people and a few bombes, so they did not have time to translate all the signals. In the summer, they had had considerable success, and shipping losses had fallen to under 100,000 tons a month, but they were still on a knife-edge. They badly needed more resources to keep abreast of German adjustments. They had tried to get more people and fund more bombes through the proper channels, but they were getting nowhere. Finally, breaking all the rules, on 28 October they wrote directly to Winston Churchill spelling out their difficulties, with Turing as the first named. They emphasised how small their need was compared with the vast expenditure of men and money by the forces and compared with the level of assistance they could offer to the forces.[65]

    As Andrew Hodges, biographer of Turing, later wrote, "This letter had an electric effect."[66] Churchill wrote a memo to General Ismay, which read: "ACTION THIS DAY. Make sure they have all they want on extreme priority and report to me that this has been done." On 18 November, the chief of the secret service reported that every possible measure was being taken.[66] The cryptographers at Bletchley Park did not know of the Prime Minister's response, but as Milner-Barry later recalled, "All that we did notice was that almost from that day the rough ways began miraculously to be made smooth."[67] More than two hundred bombes were in operation by the end of the war.[68]
