We are aware that this approach has its own risks, because many mainstream physicists consider nuclear fusion should be associated with tunneling through Coulomb barrier, which is a

    Why is it that he publishes the original comment on his blog which he has complete control over what gets published?

    And I again note that "Mario" sounds very much like Mr Rossi.
    It's this sort of thing which removes what little credibility that Mr Rossi might have left.
    If a matter cannot be commented on, most credible entities would recognize that the most ethically consistent thing to do would be to simply delete the original post. Does he do that or does he take the opportunity to throw a bit more mud at the party he is in conflict with, and then pretend to remove himself from it by saying he can't comment on it?
    He deletes numerous other posts without publishing them so he must know where the 'delete' key is.

    Also, I note the release date for the all new Quack ecat X is now almost certainly stretched out until sometime maybe in 2017, he hopes. Again, the ubiquitous '12 month-plus' delay. And yet almost a year ago when hinting that it could be in production within months, he said people would be surprised at how fast this could be done. So far, nobody is surprised.
