The number of LENR theories that do NOT agree with this elementary condition is depressively impressive:
A usable LENR theory must answer to all these questions: 
WHERE? WHAT? HOW? WHY NOT? and WHY YES?- 
as much as possible strictly in THIS order!
Physics has the egotistical, myopic and megalomaniac ambition to deliver a complete solution for the LENR problem and this is-  unfortunately impossible due to the multi-disciplinarity of the problem- see The Six Pillars of LENR+. It is straightly suicidal to ignore engineering, the key of the solution.
I wanted to use less radical wording;  so I ask: do you know euphemisms for the word "euphemism"-as suggested/inspired by a question this morning at the brilliant A.Word.A.Day - discover the magic of words "What’s a synonym for the word synonym?"
