Please take this writing seriously just not ad litteram totally. The sets of dirty snd 4-letter words intersect deeply but are not superposed, ditto the sets of 4-letter and the essential LENR words.
Do not forget that I have discovered that the dirtiest F-word has only 3 letters:

Anyway, yesterday Ed Storms - in the frame of our friendly dispute wrote:

No problem with disagreement it is stimulating and creative, however I dilike the word random in connection of my long effort to think about cold fusion /LENR

The Web says:
 RANDOM, adjective: "made, done, or happening without method or conscious decision".

I have to take this as an negative compliment ; I think differently, independently, perhaps erroneously but ...randomly? XXXX (censored)

However an other impulse came today from Simon Derricut who behaaves as a Rossi anti-fan (not much better than the kind defined by  the 3-letter word 
evaluated as a negative superlative (or the reverse) Simon has accused me:

Peter - your arguments with Ed Storms seem to be predicated on proving him wrong by pointing at Rossi's successes with Nickel. Since you believe that Rossi is telling the truth, that follows.

I have tried to separate the PdD discussion from NiH I spoke about the inherent weaknesses of the original system and have expressed firmly my opinion that nano-cracks cannot be nuclearly active sites in the very day the idea appeared, my opinion is valid even if any other form of LENR just disappears, and aactually  Ed Storms has extended his concepts to the Rossi process- Rossi  has found the secret method to generate many, many cracks in nickel- he said. 
There are 3 methods used to manipulate- I have told it too many times- divide and rule, combine and confuse and mix and kill- here it was inadvertently combined
my opinion about a theory with my opinion about a technology. I dislike being manipulated- YYYY (again censored)

HOWEVER I have learned that it is pragmatic to extract something good- the best possible from everything and I got the idea that indeed it is too much randomness in LENR, we need more order - we must work out a system to describe, evaluate and compare LENR theories, explanations in am unitary way, based on logic and a snart taxonomy.
Let's try to use short, 4 letter words for this. Four sounds actually, PHOTO or Crack will be considered 4 letter words anyway.

First things first any theory must reveal

1- TOPO- topology, where the reactions take place? are there special zones, acttive sites, or is the global lattice the place? What about TIME- if there are active sites- at START or formed CONTinuously? 

2- NATU  what is the nature of the reactions, processes genearting enrgy?nuclear, only nuclear, reactions or interactions, individual or a form of collective reactions, pre-nuclear and post-nuclear processes It would be ideal to have only D+D, resp. H+H fusion, is Mother Nature indeed so gracious and modest?

3- MECH- how and why take place the useful, generative reactions, processes snd the most important how can these be managed?
ACTH- how can be hydrogen activated? 
ACTM- how can be the metal be made more receptive?
STIM- How, by what means cam we stimulate the intercourse - no! deep interaction between hydrogen and metal.
This is a primitive sketch only, written in time crisis (I made some consulting work- web search re a cryosurgery device). But it can be improved using examples. I m thinking comparing the theory that is implicit in the recent AIRBUS patent, with the Storms, the Hagelstein- Swartz explanations in their updated form. I need help.

    A rule for LENR

    Nuclear energy transfer from a nucleus to a Bose condensate quasiparticle ensemble member(BCQEM) happens without radiation because its energy storage capacity is large enough to hold enough energy to reach the meson creation level without an EMF overflow. The BCQEM acts like a big energy holding tank. When the BCQEM does overflow, the BCQEM produces mesons through Hadronization. The BCQEM is a BEC of SPPs. The BEC lives on the surface of the UDH.

    When the quasiparticle is not a member of a Bose condensate, it releases stored nuclear energy less than or equal to 300,000 electron volts. This is a single SPP.

    Energy transfer from the nucleus to the individual or collective SPP is via entanglement. The SPP becomes the same particle as the nucleus and shares energy.

    "More recently, another form of Rydberg matter has been detected and studied, where the electron orbital angular momentum l is zero. The Rydberg matter structure is in this case instead given by the spin angular momentum s > 0. This quantum number was identified experimentally to have values s = 1, 2 or 3, giving an interatomic distance of only 0.57 pm in level s = 1.3This type of matter is usually called ultra-dense hydrogen with notation as H(0) for simplicity, with most studies concerned with the level s = 2 with experimental H-H bond distance of 2.3 ± 0.1 pm."

    In UDH, the electrons form a stationary spin wave on the surface of the UDH, the electrons sit still and don't orbit (electron orbital angular momentum l is zero). In this state, electrons will become entangled with photons and become SPPs. All the SPPs become entangled and form a BEC. Thus the UDH effectively produces a huge SPP with huge energy storage capacity. This SPP is quasi stable and continually releases energy as mesons when its meson energy limit is reached.

    In a non BEC state, single SPPs on nanowire have a small energy storage capacity and will release stored energy as XUV light when they decay. (10 to 100 picoseconds)

    +James Rovnak You will have to ask them. I have communicated briefly by email with Norman and he recognized the geometric similarities with his face centered nuclear lattice. He seemed intrigued. In fact I suspect it was his viewing of this video that got the viewership ball rolling. If you are really interested in the fundamentals to this subject, I recommend you view some of the theoretically based videos at the YouTube channel under my name. They reiterate on a more fundamental particle level the geometry of Cook's QND, which I believe is correct based on my cursory review. My understanding is that Rossi has been consistently taciturn about his work, and I know nothing further of it. I spoke with Peter Hagelstein at some length about a month or so ago about the subject. He has recently been investigating the tetrahedral interstitial regions of the palladium lattice, and said he had a paper in review that addressed these regions. I have not read it. I don't believe the granularity of the lattice is involved, though I would surmise that the granular boundaries would tend to collect helium. I believe the tetrahedral interstices near the surface of the lattice in conjunction with deuterium saturation of the lattice are key. With respect to quantum phenomenology of my other videos, my approach is that fundamental particles are actually classical oscillations of an underlying spatially continuous substrate with an extremely high bulk modulus. As such the oscillations, operating at a characteristic frequency based on the inertial density of that substrate under the stress of ongoing cosmic expansion, can best be understood using classical wave analysis and the stress/strain relationship, with which you as an engineer will be well acquainted. What are called fundamental particles by the standard model of physics, quarks and leptons, are clearly an interaction of the nodal and anti-nodal components of these oscillatory structures in high energy collisions. I have used, but now hesitate to use the term waves for this phenomena, because it conjures images of planar waves in a liquid medium, which is an inaccurate representation. Such oscillation is more like an instance of microscopic internal friction of an extremely dense solid that exhibits isotropic torsion which resolves to orthogonally oriented directions. The result is an initial torsional displacement that oscillates while rotating in place, creating the neutron. Such rotational oscillation prevents dispersion of the oscillatory energy, as the primary nodes rotate in space at a yoctohertz frequency. Continued expansion of the substrate results in a drop in mechanical impedance and a transmission of energy and power at the leading node as the electron which we register as beta decay. The fundamental oscillation losses some energy and therefore frequency to become the proton. This is basic structural engineering and it gets lost on theoretical physicists. I hope you will find it of interest, pursue the links, and let me know what you think. If you will pursue the matter, you will find a model which, arguing from first principles, correctly predicts to 8 order of magnitude in most cases, the basic observed quantum, as well as some macro, properties of spin, the quantum nature of gravity, charge, magnetic dipole moment, neutron/proton/electron mass ratios, the nature of anti-particles, Newton’s gravitational constant, the Hubble rate, etc. Cheers Mart Gibson
