My Linguistics Project will fail gloriously, it seems- no synonym or newly created word can replace, surpass or compete with "INTERESTINGNESS"- that is and remains the purpose, ambition, mission, strategy, main value, slogan of our dear Universe. 
The incessant increase of the degree of interestingness of he world- on the line matter-life-consciousness helped by energy and information is the ever changing result of a wonderful game and dynamic equilibrium, non-equilibrium of destruction (powerful, aggressive and rather dumb) and creation( smart, fast and inventive, collaborative; the magic keyword is sinergy)

Now we are thinking and in a sense acting in LENR  a champion of interestingness.
In good sense- intersestingness increases- but also in the worst as in the Chinese curse.
Today besides the routine work of searching news re and around LENR, I have meditated upon two interesting papers- it happens by Russian authors.
recently a friend has called my attention to the works of Yuri Ratis and paper no 1) demonstrates the very high level of thinking of this scientist. The ultimate theories of LENRs will need very specialized knowledge created now by gurus as Yuri Ratis.
I have translated unpardonably slowly the paper of Chizhov and Zaitsev  signalled first on Dec 8, last year. Excuses- vision problems and negative feelings (irrational) toward the concept of "twin boarders" a defect of the crystalline structure of nickel lattice- the Rossi Process takes place here- claim the authors. And show some calculations which I have understood slowly and still not completely

No problem, I think the method, the approach of the authors is of high instructive value:
- create the good topology- the active sites and thus make nickel receptive toward hydrogen, protect this topology by degassing the metal surface,  stimulate the interaction of H and Ni. There are many replicators and sooner or later one of them will find out the secret of multiplicative heat excess i.e. the generator able to work in self sustaining regime.
Rosssi knows well that this i inevitable- but his competitive advantage is speed and advanced knowledge. Know-how and Know-why.

Summary. (the text being too high level for me today I am mixing my translation with Google's)

We have worked out the formalism for describing the electro-weak sub-atomic processes. Based on this formalism we show that an exo-atom "neutronic" is just an especially very narrow low lying  resonance in the  elastic scattering of electron-protons based on the weak interaction that lead to the converting of the initial state of proton= electron in a quasi-bound neutron-neutrino pair.
 Due to the very small breadth and amplitude  this resonance cannot be observed

in a direct experiment of e-p scattering.. The presence of a third particle in the collision of an electron with a hydrogen atom leads to the fact that the propagator of a hydrogen atom in an excited intermediate state is included in the expression for the cross section of a "neutron" under the integral sign. As a result, the width of the resonance in the birth of neutron collisions of electrons with hydrogen to 14 orders of magnitude greater than the width of a similar resonance in the elastic ep - scattering, and its properties can be studied in the experiment. The estimation of the size, lifetime, excitation energy and cross section of "neutrons". It is shown that the threshold of the birth of "neutron" is well below the threshold of thermonuclear reactions. This means that nuclear-active particles similar to a neutron can be produced in very low energy, and therefore, cause a nuclear reaction similar to that caused by neutrons, at a time when nuclear reactions with charged particles are banned by the high Coulomb barrier. The known experiments are  confirming the existence of the neutron. Variants experimentum crucis, production of which will put an end to scientific debate lasting for almost a century on "whether there are nuclear reactions at low energies?".

2) Real settled science' has its deniers, too

A second case involved a scientific collaboration of one of the world's leading chemists, Martin Fleischmann, with Stanley Pons. In 1989 they announced the existence of a room-temperature nuclear fusion reaction created by a simple chemical process that could produce useful energy. They too attracted deniers of classical physics and chemistry who pushed this new concept of so-called "cold fusion." And again, within a few years, the "cold fusion" proponents were proved wrong when scientific labs worldwide were unable to replicate their experiments, and cold fusion gained the label "pathological science."
