DEC 14, 2016 LENR INFO MINI AGAIN

MOTTO

The person that you will spend the most time with in your life is yourself, so you better try to make yourself as interesting as possible (unknown)

One of the advises i have received much too late!

DAILY NOTES

I am not unhappy as blogger!

Again a miniature info issue however I have found one reason to be happy- the paper about catalysis at LENR IN CONTEXT-1- it shows there can be progress in an old scientific-technical area strongly related to LENR. A good sign for our field.

Who can help me with a list of LENR MYSTERIES?  Using your personal definitions of "mystery" and of "LENR"?

Dear Andrea,
The end of the year is now approaching, another year year of hard working and a year that perhaps not brought what you expected. In your New Years Wish last year you gave us your vision of what the E-cat X would give us: Light, Heat and Electricity. Now you have made a lot of progress, do you still support that vision, or has it slightly changed?
Can we expect a new vision for 2017 at the end of this year?
Many followers hope with you that the design of the QuarkX’s in the 5 Sigma tests will be the One that will conquer the world next year. Avanti, Avanti and good luck!
Kind regards, Gerard

I strongly hope that in February we will have a breakthrough.
Hard work ahead, as always.
Thank you for your sustain,

LENR IN CONTEXT-1

Chemists uncover a means to control catalytic reactions

Date:December 13, 2016
Source:University of Toronto
Summary:
Scientists have found a way to make catalysis more selective, breaking one chemical bond 100 times faster than another. The team of researchers employed a combination of experiment and theory to discover that the position of the molecule on the catalytic surface is a key factor in determining the rate at which particular bonds break

My main concern is the ightmare of a massive distributed products that have shortcomings.
    It will pass.
    Warm Regards

If LENR is a muon based reaction, it is important to prove that this reaction mechanism exists to keep the nightmare of massive distribution of products from occurring without that type of emission being mitigated. This type of knowledge about the fundamental LENR reaction is valuable to all parties that are interested in selling LENR products. Both Rossi and I.H. and possibly even R. Mills would benefit greatly from foreknowledge of this reaction behavior before massive distribution of products begins. Such knowledge might impact the legal situation between Rossi and I.H. as the commercial profile of LENR might be significantly affected.

  2. There is a clear difference between on one hand Chemical Energy stations (oil, coal & gas), nuclear power stations and on the other hand: hot fusion. Hot fusion needs a lof of energy before it generates energy. The others don't, they use the potential energy in carbon based fuel or in the fission based metals like Uranium, plutonium and thorium and the energy required to liberate it is neglectable.
That makes hot fusion an extreme inefficient outlier which is directly related to the required temperature (millions of degrees) to liberate the potential fusion energy. This temperature plasma is hold in magnetic coils that are cooled to nearly zero Kelvin. It will be an huge task to do that so efficiently that net energy will be generated, if they can make it fuse long enough.
That is why I hope for LENR and that these fusion or transmutation reactions can be done at moderate temperatures. It would make everything so much easier!
