5) Andrea Rossi - should the E-Cat become an eponym?
September 2nd, 2015 at 11:07 PM
Marco Serra:
I am inside the plant and here is midnight: thank you for enlightening the night with this nice comment on Prof. Sergio Focardi: the idea to name after him the E-Cat X is not bad, also because “Focardi” comes from “Focus”…thank you for the suggestion. I totally agree upon what you say of the great Professor.
Warm Regards,
A.R.

Clemente Rapacki:
Now, at 07.53 p.m. inside the 1 MW plant the situation is normal; the E-Cat X is still in construction. I am working on new patents.
Warm Regards,
A.R.
6) Lithium is so popular in LENR; is this paper interesting for our theorists?
Triple α resonances in the 6Li + 6Li → 3α reaction at low energy
A.Tumino et al
Abstract
The 6Li + 6Li → 3α reaction has been measured in a kinematically complete experiment at 3.1 MeV of beam energy. The reaction mainly proceeds via intermediate 8Be states. The interaction between any two of the three α particles provides events with one, two or three 8Be interfering levels, with strong enhancement in the α–α coincidence yield. Evidence of three 8Be levels within the same 3α event suggests that one α particle is exchanged between the other two. This is a condition for Efimov states to occur in nuclei, for which no observation exists yet. The hyperspherical formalism for the low-energy three-body problem has been applied to point out the 3α particle correlation.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR GENERATING ENERGY BY NUCLEAR REACTIONS OF HYDROGEN ADSORBED BY ORBITAL CAPTURE ON A NANOCRYSTALLINE STRUCTURE OF A METAL
http://worldwide.espacenet.com/publicationDetails/biblio?CC=EP&NR=2702593&KC=&locale=en_EP&FT=E Technical problems: increasing and regulating the power obtained according to a method and by an apparatus based on nuclear reactions between hydrogen (31) and a primary material (19) comprising cluster nanostructures (21) of a transition metal, in which hydrogen is kept in contact with the clusters (21) within a generation chamber, at a determined process temperature, and in which a process comprising an orbital capture reaction of H- ions (35) by clusters (21) and then a capture reaction by the atoms (38) of the cluster (21) is triggered by impulsively acting on the primary material (19), thus generating an energy as a primary reaction heat (Q1). Solution: arranging a secondary material (28) such as Lithium and/or Boron and/or a transition metal as 232Th, 236U, 239U, 239Pu within a predetermined distance (L) from the clusters (21) of primary material (19), such that secondary material (28) faces primary material (19), said secondary material (28) adapted to interact with protons (35"') that are emitted by/from primary material (19) during the above process. Secondary material (28) reacts with such protons (35"') according to nuclear proton-dependent reactions releasing a secondary reaction heat (Q2) that is added to primary reaction heat (Q1). According to an aspect of the invention, a step, and a means thereto, is provided of/for regulating the heat produced, by adjusting the amount of secondary material (28) that is arranged close to and facing primary material (19).

The Sidney Kimmel Institute for Nuclear Renaissance (SKINR) was created in
2012 at the University of Missouri to perform fundamental research on the fact that
excess heat is sporadically produced during electrolysis of heavy water on Pd cathodes.
We call this phenomenon, discovered in 1989, the anomalous heat effect (AHE) since its
origin is unknown. This talk will begin with presentation of the landscape of the field of
AHE as it is today, review anomalous heat data, and discuss why local scale – atomic
scale – methods are essential, looking forward, to understand the phenomena going on. In
this context we expect that perturbed angular correlations (PAC) data may provide clues
that would aid developing a model for AHE.
The second part of the presentation covers ENEA’s research of the material
science of cathode preparation, pre and post materials analyses, and status of the cathode
during excess heat production.
The third part of the presentation will review our recent preliminary in-situ PAC
measurements performed at the SSP labs at ISOLDE during the electrolysis in 0.1 M
LiOH or LiOD for 181Hf implanted Pd cathodes at the BONIS – HISKP Bonn separator.
The data for LiOD electrolyte show anomalous, variable high frequency electric field
gradient (EFG) components that appear / disappear near specific loading ratio of D/Pd
that is not evident for LiOH electrolyte. This high frequency component does not appear
in static samples so it may be attributed to the dynamics of D loading at the 30 nm
implantation depth of the Hf. Details of the data analysis and possible explanations will
be discussed, as well as possible complementary experiments to further elucidate the
findings.

10) Report from Freethinker. My thoughts on the radiation I saw.

I was always sure the Lady LENR visited MFMP especially in Alan's GS3 even with all the encountered heating coil & instrument questions. Just too many things happening at expected points in temperature profile. & now the vector of truth is showing the Ladies presence & more to come no less?
