IT COMES THE JUDGMENT DAY FOR THE LENR PARADIGM?

(I am old, timid and conformist, this explains “?” in the title)

Sooner or later, that day will come and the present LENR paradigm will be confronted with the genuine experimental reality.

I think it will be a new surprising, well built but merciless reality coming from functional devices. Devices with clear, well actionable parameters, easy to measure and also based on good knowledge regarding initial, intermediary and final products. My opinion (exposed for now in 53 papers from the attached list) is that the reality will lead to profound changes- I doubt even that the field’s name will remain LENR for long after the impact of reality. However, in our case reality will hit very hard.

The present LENR paradigm was built on the PdD wet system and because this is able to deliver only barely audible, stuttering answers from Mother Nature, we have only one certainty – LENR exists. A certainty more than Pliny the Elder had (who’s unique certainty was that nothing is certain) – the certainty that the phenomenon manifested by excess heat is real. But nobody knows with certainty what the phenomenon actually is.?

How complex it is, in how many stages it takes place and in which extent and mode it is nuclear? Because it is nuclear in other forms than the brutal force hot nuclear fusion- it must be some smart nuclear ju-jitsu mixed with pre- and post nuclear phenomena.

LENR has already two or three main branches (PdD, NiH and

NiD- but the last one is still not certain, the jury is still waiting for solid proofs, Dr. Mizuno!) Heat/Helium is valid for PdD- but it cannot be applied for the more promising NiH systems; my guess is that it is about different species.

A timely question is if the new Rossi Report around the next corner will be the great paradigm killer and changer?

A great open question is if the impact of the coming Rossi

Report No. 2 will help the actual paradigm of LENR or, on the contrary, the Paradigm will be destroyed, even killed by the newly revealed facts?

The day when the Second Rossi Report will be published but this judgment will happen only IF ( a huge IF!) the report will give more than thermal balance data- i.e. will show important information about what happens- scientifically- in that HotCat working for long time. I hope it will be a honest professional, work a sound appeal for radical paradigm change. Nobody has agreed either and I cannot interpret this in any way. My comment:

Asking for help is normal. LENR is too complex a matter to be let to physicists alone. Plus it needs a bunch of theories, not only one, being a multi-stage process; a simple reaction is only a very partial explanation. It is a new world and you will see new concepts born or used, nothing bloody anomalous just unexpected and new. More surprising than you imagine. Viable, working LENR+ is considerably more rich, complex and interesting than initial PdD electrolysis cell.

You, dear readers well know my obsession (sane) for the priority and dominance of the negative, ergo I think for making a new way you have to remove the obstacles first – and in this case the old theories are those that stay in the way of the new understanding. The next step in logic is to think about the Theory-calipse as part of the fall of the old Paradigm. However

the situation is different- the many different LENR theories are not additive they are not reciprocally supportive- on the contrary: theory is fellow theory’s wolf to paraphrase “homo homini lupus”. The most interesting fact is that recently a big new theory, a hyper wolf created by the community’s most reputed, knowledgeable, most advanced scientist who is a great master of combining and evaluating ALL, I repeat ALL the known experimental data, Dr. Edmund Storms has sentenced to death all LENR theories, except his own.  Please read the book of Ed Storms or ask him to send you the Appendix to it, very synthetic- I have no right to disseminate it.

We can get a rather good vision of the historic events to come next week (?)- in an epical battle: the beautiful theory of Ed Storms fighting valiantly for the existent paradigm  will encounter the (hopefully) very ugly and unexpected facts revealed by the Rossi Report No. 2. Facts do not take prisoners.

You already know that so much depends on the openness and scientific boldness of the Report. After answering the fundamental question: was massive, long time, highly efficient (COP!!!?) excess heat demonstrated beyond any rational, irrational and pathologically hostile doubt? – we will investigate the scientific technological value of this Opus.

How was managed control? Was the team able to abandon the Nià Cu transmutation idea- as main source of heat?  Were the main mechanisms, the principal processes and reactions found? Was the team independent from the dominating bad memes of physics too? Where is placed the Report on the 1 to scale of open-mindness?

How many times appear in the report words as ICPMS, isotopes, “don’t know yet” “not nuclear” “active sites” and many other words rich in significance? I am preparing. After the analysis of the Report what will I regret: a) that I have expected too much from it? b) that I was too mild in criticizing the old Paradigm? c) that I have not understood the Storms theory because nanocracks and hydrotons etc.,  will be decisively confirmed by the Report?

Actually I will regret nothing because the victory of truth is more important than my Ego- my blog Ego Out is built on this principle. I don’t think that the members of that independent

but courageous team will regret that they have not read my blog because they could have find, if not answers but creative questions there. Rossi himself surely does ignore Ego Out because he well knows who my friends are.

Will the Report be a great surprise? For whom?
