DAILY NOTES
a) the role of insight in LENR development
Ego Out is, first of all a problem solving blog, so you can guess that I have enjoyed the Insight vs Analysis paper- see it at LENR IN CONTEXT-1.
Insight has a shining list of synonyms and generates creative enthusiasm in translations.
However "insights" is a broad concept- and LENR needs many insights in order to start to develop normally- that is hyper-exponentially on many planes in a lot of directions.
b) the correct diagnostic for PdD is not dead/undead but unable to grow up, permanent immaturity. dwarfism
I think PdD is alive- not well but far from being dead. The dead/undead metaphor of Bart Simon with who I have collaborated well at writing the report for this ASTI Meeting:
http://www.infinite-energy. com/images/pdfs/astiworkshop. pdf
OK, this metaphor had a limited validity and a finite life. As I tried to suggest yesterday, in a sense to not be able to grow up, to develop to attain force and maturity is even worse than being dead- noticed as a failure and being.forgotten.
The correct diagnostic is nanism, dwarfism, debility as the insects that if cannot undergo the stage of metamorphosis- by the way juvenile hormones are specific insecticides.
If you cannot develop physically and remain weak you are dead for athletics and
basketball- for example. If you become unable to develop mentally- that is worse than death, I know this tragedy so well from my son Robert (1968-1999)
PdD lacks the actionable parameters for a well managed development. The hot transition metals- hydrogen systems have a lot of possibilities- just think about the 18 steps MFMP recipe.
By the way MFMP announces that the strong team of SKINR- U. of Missouri has staeted to work with NiH- replication. F9- as Rossi used to say!

ABSTRACT
How accurate are insights compared to analytical solutions? In four experiments, we investigated how participants' solving strategies influenced their solution accuracies across different types of problems, including one that was linguistic, one that was visual and two that were mixed visual-linguistic. In each experiment, participants' self-judged insight solutions were, on average, more accurate than their analytic ones. We hypothesised that insight solutions have superior accuracy because they emerge into consciousness in an all-or-nothing fashion when the unconscious solving process is complete, whereas analytic solutions can be guesses based on conscious, prematurely terminated, processing. This hypothesis is supported by the finding that participants' analytic solutions included relatively more incorrect responses (i.e., errors of commission) than timeouts (i.e., errors of omission) compared to their insight responses.

The E-Cats are safe and I have not been a Guinea pig.
Since the beginning of the collaboration with Prof. Sergio Focardi, he teached to me how to work safe with this matter, and I never exposed myself, let alone my teams, to any risk. Not a single person of my teams in all these years had any problem to his health due to our work. All the measurements made to our plants have always confirmed that we do not have ionizing radiations outside the E-Cats and in the environment around above the background; we made hundreds of measurement campaigns on the E-Cats.
The problems to my health turned out to be due by the tremendous stress I passed through, working day and night and now I am rapidly recovering my normal status.

While, as you correctly say, many people are now speculating that Industrial Heat has expanded their licensed Territory and/or acquired the license for the United Kingdom, such speculation is without merit.
At this time, there has been no change to the Territory licensed to Industrial Heat, LLC or any of its affiliated companies.
Leonardo Corporation remains the owner of ALL the E- Cat related intellectual property and continues to work with multiple licenses, including the great Swedish Team of Hydrofusion ( one of our pillars ) throughout Europe and the rest of the world.

Dear Dr Andrea Rossi !
In the blogs is circulating the voice that the incorporation of Industrial Heat UK means that now Industrial Heat has acquired from Leonardo Corporation the license also for UK and probably other areas of the world, so that Leonardo is destined to become a poor thing, while the powerful and rich Industrial Heat will develope your intellectual property also by means of a team of competitors of yours that IH is financing ( Brillouin, La Gatta for example). Is it true that you have sold your IP for UK and Europe to IH, as many are speculating in the blogs ? What about all your other licensees, for example Hydrofusion in Sweden and UK ?
Thank you if you can answer,
Erik

After the very long consideration of the ideal energy source by fusion of the protons of light hydrogen with the boron isotope 11 (boron fusion HB11) the very first two independent measurements of very high reaction gains by lasers basically opens a fundamental breakthrough. The non-thermal plasma block ignition with extremely high power laser pulses above petawatt of picosecond duration in combination with up to ten kilotesla magnetic fields for trapping has to be combined to use the measured high gains as proof of an avalanche reaction for an environmentally clean, low cost and lasting energy source as potential option against global warming. The unique HB11 avalanche reaction is are now based on elastic collisions of helium nuclei (alpha particles) limited only to a reactor for controlled fusion energy during a very short time within a very small volume.

The Boron fusion paper is a canard. It has no possible use other than to send many millions to Lawrence Livermore.
ReplyDeleteThe SmCo5 magnet shows how LENR works. Straight magnetic flux tubes decay protons and neutrons in direct proportion to the strength of the monopole magnetic field. Cravens Gold Ball demo shows how a small magnet can produce a watt of heat. Proton decay via Monopole magnetism is accepted science. The muon is a decay product of proton and neutron decay as follows: Meson -> kaon -> pion -> muon -> electron.

Your negative fixation on PdD is incorrect. PdD as a "hot transition metals- hydrogen system" has exactly the same "actionable parameters" as nickel-protium. If you had preceded your language with the word "wet" then you would have been correct. But you did not, and thus you are wrong.
ReplyDeleteBut even less work has been done on "dry" PdD systems than on nickel-protium. Any and all types of experimentation should be encouraged. The more the merrier.
It is no fixation and please explain how the actionable papramters are the same for an electrolytic cell working from 30 C to 100 C (better 70) and a hot gasphase cell with a complex recipe working from 400 to 1400 C with a lot of possibilities. Both the metal and hydrogen can (and must be!( activated
